About Our Co-operative

Harbour Channel

The Harbour Channel Housing Co-operative was founded in 1989. Our building is owned and operated by members of our co-operative on a not-for-profit basis.

Every member of the co-operative is entitled to occupy a unit in the building, and vote on matters affecting the building. Each year members of the co-operative elect a Board of Directors who oversee the administration of the building.

We are located at 633 Lake Shore Boulevard West, in the central lakefront community of Bathurst Quay, near the intersection of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Stadium Road.

What is co-operative housing?

Our building is owned and operated by the people who live within it. Every member of the co-operative is entitled to occupy a unit in the building. Each member has a vote at general meetings of the co-operative, and every year elects a Board of Directors, who oversee the building’s administration.
